THE SESSION

The Session is the primary governing body of the Presbyterian congregation. Elders are elected by the congregation to plan the life and work of the church.

Committee structure of Session:
1. Church Support - provides administrative and physical support for the mission of the church.
2. Faith Spirit - guides and supports Christian education, worship, and music to inspire people through faith, knowledge of God, and the teachings of Jesus.
3. Outreach - sets and implements priorities for support of mission and peacemaking activities, and guides the members to support and share in meeting the needs of the community.
4. Church Community - helps create an inclusive congregation where all are welcome and feel safe on their faith journey to express their talents and to take time for rest and renewal.
5. Personnel - is responsible for personnel job descriptions, policies, and annual reviews.
